Anamnèse

Provisional version, awaiting legal review. This text may still change.

Terms of use

Provisional version of 25 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Anamnèse is published by [to be completed] (name or company name), [to be completed] (address), [to be completed] (status, registration number if any). Contact: contact.anamnese.uk@gmail.com. See also the legal notice.

2. What Anamnèse is for

Anamnèse is a note-taking tool intended for clinical learning. It records and formats only what the user writes; its calculators display a raw arithmetic result, without interpretation. It provides no assistance with diagnosis or treatment and is not a medical device. Users are responsible for the content they enter, the history templates and formulas they create, and compliance with their institution’s rules.

Anamnèse is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. For medical advice, consult a healthcare professional or your supervisor.

3. Who may use it

Anamnèse is intended for health students and health professionals in training aged 18 or over.

4. Your data stays on your phone

Write-ups, templates, sheets and settings are stored encrypted on your phone. We have no server and receive none of this data. It leaves the phone only when you decide: PDF or Word export, sharing a template, backup to a folder you choose. An exported file is no longer encrypted: you choose who receives it.

5. Patients

Do not write a patient's name, date of birth or any information that could identify them: use an identifier. Respect medical confidentiality and your institution's rules. Do not take photos of patients for sheets.

6. Provided content, sheets and calculations

The templates, method sheets and formulas provided are for learning; they may contain errors or differ from your institution's protocols. Check them with your teachers and recognised sources. A calculation only displays a raw number, never an interpretation.

7. On-device AI

Creating from a document uses an AI that runs on your phone, without sending the document. It only sorts the lines it reads; automatic reading (OCR) can make mistakes. The result is a draft you must check before saving it. Any external AI you use is a third-party service of your choice, with its own terms: never paste patient data into it.

8. Free version and purchase

Seven write-ups are free, each editable for one hour after it is first opened, then closed; they remain readable and exportable. A one-time purchase, made through Google Play, unlocks unlimited write-ups and the on-device AI. The price is shown by the store. Refunds and the right of withdrawal follow the store's rules and the law of your country. “Restore purchases” finds a purchase on a new phone with the same account.

9. Backup and data loss

As we do not have your data, we cannot recover it. Set up backup in Settings and keep your backup password: without it, the backup cannot be opened. If you forget your Anamnèse code, there is no recovery.

10. What we guarantee, and our limits

We do our best to keep the app working and fix reported defects. You benefit from the legal guarantees for digital content. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of what you write in the app, nor for data loss due to lack of backup, loss of the phone or a forgotten code. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury caused by our fault.

11. Ownership

The app, its code, its design and its provided content belong to [to be completed] (publisher) or to their authors (licences in Settings → About → Licences). What you create (write-ups, templates, sheets) belongs to you. When you share a template, you confirm you have the right to share it.

12. Changes

We may change these terms; the new version is shown in the app and on anamnese.uk with its date. Significant changes will be announced in the app.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [to be completed] (publisher's country), without depriving you of the protection granted by the law of your country of residence. In case of dispute, contact us first; you may also use a consumer mediator [to be completed] (name) or the competent court.
