Privacy policy

Provisional version of 25 October 2026.

In short: we collect no data. Anamnèse has no server, no account, no advertising, no usage statistics and no trackers.

1. What is stored, and where

Everything you write (write-ups, templates, sheets, images, settings) is stored on your phone, encrypted (AES-256) with a key kept in the phone's secure keystore. We have no access to it.

2. What leaves the phone, and only if you decide

PDF/Word exports and template sharing (you choose the recipient; the file is no longer encrypted); a backup encrypted with your password, in the folder you choose (for example Google Drive: the provider of that folder then applies its own policy).

3. Internet connections

  1. One-time AI download (about 1.1 GB) from Hugging Face: as with any download, that service sees your phone's IP address; no document is sent.
  2. Purchase and restoration through Google Play: Google processes the payment under its own policy; we only receive the purchase confirmation, on your phone.

4. Notifications

The export reminder is scheduled on the phone, without a server.

5. Android backup

App data is excluded from Google backup and from transfer to a new phone.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Since we hold no data about you, we can neither access nor delete it: you remain in full control (deleting a write-up, or uninstalling the app, erases the data from the phone). For any question: contact.anamnese.uk@gmail.com. You can contact the data protection authority of your country.

7. Patient data

You are responsible for what you write. Do not enter any information that could identify a patient.

8. Age

The app is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

Any change is dated and published on anamnese.uk.
